Singer / Musician / Performer

I have many years of stage experience as a vocalist, actor, dancer, and musician. My main instruments are voice, piano, and guitar. I am available for hire as a freelance musician. My repertoire is listed below and includes some of the songs I can perform.

Here is a sample of me performing the pop ballad Broken Vow by Lara Fabian and Walter Afanasieff:

I can perform solo or with accompanying musicians depending on a client’s needs. Here is a sample of me performing one of my original songs Go-Getter live with a 5 piece band and backing vocalists:

“Go where no one has gone, go all life long, go as the beat goes on, go-getter this is your song.” ~ Jennifer Trijo

As a versatile mezzo soprano, I am capable of singing in a range of genres including musical theatre, classical, rock, pop, and jazz.

I have a range of three octaves (C3 – C6). I have studied popular music under the tuition of Tracy Ellis (Sydney), musical theatre and classical music under the tuition of the late Margarette Burnett (Sydney/New Zealand), and musical theatre under the tuition of Gary May (Melbourne).

I have extensive experience as a lead singer and backing vocalist in several showbands and choirs, and I am confident singing solo and in harmony with other vocalists. I am truly grateful to have been mentored in the art of showmanship by cabaret veterans Rikki Organ, Rosemary Schofield, Darryl Talbot, and Alan Skeed. Their mentorship contributed to my confidence entertaining big crowds, as well as crowds in intimate settings. I pride myself on providing friendly banter and comic relief along with professional vocals.

Depending on your needs, I can sing to backing tracks, live bands, and/or accompany myself on piano and/or acoustic guitar. I have studied piano under the tuition of Michelle Lee (Sydney), Bruce Mainstone (Sydney), and Tom Kassai (Adelaide).

“The girl can sing, play piano and is simply stunning. Big love to this fringe performance, however I think you belong in a spotlight not the Fringe honey, yep I am doing it 5 amazing stars.” (KEYS TO A WOMAN’S HEART: Randy Andy’s Blog. Oct 4, 2012.)
