First Stage of Development: NYMPH

A new musical in concert with a healing original score by accomplished actor-musician, Jennifer Trijo, will debut at the Adelaide Fringe Festival in February 2026. The critically-acclaimed composer of ‘Someday – a Mindful Cabaret’ returns with a bold new work featuring a female-led, South-Australian creative team, and a cast of electrifying voices.

A Daydreamer, Sol, meets a Sleepwalker, Luna, on a hill during an eclipse. A life-altering conversation challenges their worldviews and sense of identity as Nature oversees their transformation. A musical about introspection, becoming, self-actualisation, and what it means to be othered. It is part allegory, part song cycle set in a fantasy realm which explores philosopher Ralph Waldo Emerson’s insightful phrase “do not seek outside yourself”.
